Resolution - a firm decision to do or not to do something.

            Have you made a personal resolution to know God better? A personal resolution is a determination that a person makes to improve something about themselves. Many people make “New Year’s” resolutions that they keep for a few days or weeks until it fades into the expansive vortex of their mind. In other words, they forget all about it. 

            Why should we want to know God better? Well, it was HIS salvation plan, carried out by His own Son, that freed us from the slavery of a sinful life. Doesn’t God seem like a person we’d like to know more completely? Shouldn’t it be something you’d like to do?  A follower of Christ shouldn’t hesitate to enter in to fellowship with the King of Kings. He desires your company. He wishes to meet with you. But we must actually take the first step to knowing Him better. It has to be OUR resolution to know God more. If that is your prayerful desire, then you can be assured that is a prayer request God will surely answer. 

            How seriously do you take your walk with the Lord. Being a follower of Christ has little to do with going to church or even being extremely active there. That is what Christian’s DO.

A follower of Christ enters the spiritual realm thru prayer and quiet time with God. There He or she can listen more then they speak to God. Understand that you learn nothing new when you’re talking. It is when you take the time to listen that you grow. Until next time, walk with the King & be a blessing.
