Thoughts from a Random Mind
There are constant temptations that attempt to infiltrate our mind and steer us off course on our walk with the Lord. There are times when it seems like everywhere we look there is some sort of temptation staring us right in the eye. And don’t you know the devil knows exactly where we are most vulnerable. He will keep banging away that the weak link in our chain until we strengthen that area or it breaks. This is why we must feed our spirit man and not our flesh. We need God’s counsel because as Solomon says in Proverbs, “There is a way that seems right to a man, whose way leads to destruction.” It doesn’t have to be that way. Starve your old man and feed the spirit. The result will be the peace found from a clear conscience.
The enemy of our soul will NEVER stop throwing obstacles in our path. The Lord can guide us thru that maze of chaos if we are willing to listen and follow His lead. You need to understand that some temptations are tests of our faith and trust in God. You can either get sucked down by it or deliberately turn away, avoiding it altogether. This is possible by way of the Holy Spirit’s direction. But you have to WANT His direction. Remember, God forces Himself on NO ONE. Until next time, walk with the King & be a blessing.
In His Name, & for His Glory,
