Thoughts From a Random Mind
I have a question for you. If you’re a Christian, have you ever thought where’d you be if you didn’t know the Lord? If it wasn’t for the love of God, we would be lost and probably not even know it.
I think about my life at times. Where would I be if I HAD been accepted at the Military Academy at West Point, NY? Would I have been deployed & killed in action? Who would I have married? Where would I have lived? Would I have gotten saved? Or have things worked out in my life just as they were supposed to? I will never know all that, but I look at how things are now, and I acknowledge mistakes made. The difficulties I find myself in are my own fault and not God’s. I suppose it was because I didn’t consult the Lord regarding those things. He knows the ins and outs of things. He knows the future from the past and everything in between. But mankind always thinks they have a clear understanding of what they should do, never realizing that they haven’t got a clue.
While there’s no harm in reflecting on the past, don’t allow yourself to get mired there. Like quicksand it will drag you down. Reflection can be therapeutic if you allow yourself to learn from past miscues and mistakes. Rely on the Lord for all things. He only has what’s best for you in mind. Until next time, walk with the King & be a blessing.
