Deuteronomy 31:8 is an awesome verse of scripture. Read it out loud wherever you are and it will inspire you. Encouragement can be hard to find at times, but these words will bring you comfort and peace.
In chapter 31, Moses is passing the torch of leadership over to Joshua in the presence of all of Israel. In verse 8 he speaks these powerful words that resonate throughout history: "The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” That should send shivers up and down your spine. God's not dead, He's surely alive and is with you wherever you should happen to go.
