A refuge is a place of protection. It's a place of comfort and peace that fosters hope. Scripture teaches us that God is our refuge. He is our shield of protection. Scripture tells us that mortal man can do nothing to harm us (1). When the national economy is dreadful and the wolves are attempting to break through your door, take heart, for your God is always watching and can be trusted to be your place of refuge even in the most trying of times. rlkeller
