Striving for things that are of little consequence becomes time wasted. We can never retrieve this time. It's gone ... history. But we can make better choices starting right now. God provides a standard of living that is fair and gracious. Wanting to do your own thing will satisfy for a time, but when the satisfaction wanes, what then? Complete contentment based on lasting fulfillment is found in God alone. It's all based on faith and trust. It's time for Christians to reassess, reconnect and recommit. God is the answer to any and all of the burning questions. Let the mockers continue on with their mocking. They are the ones who will be dumbstruck in the end.
